In 1991, a group of 7-year-old children from all over the former Soviet Union were interviewed in Born in the USSR: 7 Up.
Then, the children were living in the shadow of communism, unable to contemplate a different life. But in this program, they reveal how their lives have changed.
This documentary is narrated by Robert Carlyle and James McAvoy narrates the documentaries following this one.
