We got several seasons with Mr. Gold and Rumpelstilskin and it has been running for 8 years and we are grateful for all the screen time with Robert 😀
But now we are excited about what new projects the future has to offer Robert!
The magic is over for “Once Upon a Time.”
The ABC series, which is currently in its seventh season, will end its (fairy tale) storied run with the current season, Variety has learned.
Although ABC entertainment president Channing Dungey said she was “cautiously optimistic” about bringing the show back for an eighth season, when asked about the show’s fate at the Television Critics Assn. press tour last month, the network ultimately decided to pull the plug on the franchise. The show returns for the second half of its final season on March 2, and the finale will air in May, after well over 150 episodes.
“When we first heard Adam and Eddy’s pitch for ‘Once Upon a Time,’ we knew it was something incredibly special. For seven years, they have captivated us with their creativity and passion while reimagining some of our most beloved Disney fairytales, creating an undeniable global hit,” said Dungey in a statement. “Saying goodbye will be bittersweet, but ‘Once Upon a Time’ will forever be part of the ABC legacy, and we can’t wait for fans to join us in this epic final chapter.”
Irvine Welsh new book “Dead Men’s Trousers” will be the last one about the boys Renton, Begbie, Sick Boy and Spud. It will be released in March and we are yet to find out if it will become a movie 🙂
Author Irvine Welsh has said his new Trainspotting novel will be the last in the series.
The writer is to reunite Renton, Begbie, Sick Boy and Spud for a new adventure in his novel Dead Men’s Trousers, which will be published in March.
Edinburgh-born Welsh revealed it will feature the friends in their fifties and will complete the story as he didn’t want to write about them as pensioners.
A plot summary released by publishers Penguin last year revealed that one of the much-loved characters will not survive until the end of the book.
Welsh, 59, has already written four best-selling novels featuring the characters; Trainspotting, Porno, Skagboys and The Blade Artist.
In 2009 Robert starred in a TV Spot/Commercial for the company Johnnie Walker who produces lovely Scottish Whiskey. The commercial won awards and Robert is just amazing in it.
Back in 2002 Robert joined his friends in the band Oasis and starred in their music video for the song “Little By Little”. It was filmed in London, England and one of the days of filming was on July 9. Added screencaptures, the video itself and some behind the scenes photos.
A little late, but here is some on the set photos of Robert and Colin O’Donoghue from December 5 when they filmed a scene for episode 7×13 – Knightfall!
This is screencaptures from episode 7×10, “The Eighth Witch” of Once Upon a Time. The series is now on a hiatus again until sometime in 2018!
